Biography of Dr. Monica Jolly
Dr. Monica Jolly is a Chief Technical Officer at ICAR – IARI.
CCS (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University Seattle, Washington, United States.
After having her career as the chief technical officer in the ICAR-IARI New Delhi, she is seeking a challenging position that will utilize my diverse experience in agricultural industry, the improvement of human nutrition, pharmaceutical research, bioinformatics and management.
• 36+ years of research experience
• Expertise: molecular biology techniques and genetic engineering.
• As a team member made pioneer contributions in basic and applied biological research.
• Awarded a patent and developed various methodologies of commercial value.
• Co-authored ~45 research papers in peer reviewed journals and also published 16 popular articles to popularize and bring awareness of food security, environmental hazards, and CRISPR/Cas-9 targeted genome editing technique to combat the nutritional hunger challenge.
• Conferred with the (ICAR) Indian Council of Research Institute, Best worker national Cash Award-2019 for contribution in research/excellence in performance, received 5 best poster awards for the best innovative research.
• Associated with human resource development imparting trainings and actively organized workshops and conference
